According to Roskomnadzor, Russian advertisers spent about 2023 million rubles on promotion on the social network Instagram, which is blocked in Russia, in 900, writes Vedomosti, citing a representative of the agency.
This volume of budgets was taken into account in the Unified Register of Internet Advertising (ERIR), operated by Roskomnadzor.
The income of large bloggers on this social network in 2023 increased by 35% year-on-year, according to data from the Association of Bloggers and Agencies. The entire influencer marketing market in 2023 showed significantly higher growth rates than the advertising segment on Instagram (owned by Meta, which was recognized as extremist and banned in Russia); it increased by 90%, to 30 billion rubles.
The total income of bloggers Klava Koka, Karina Nigai, Anna Khilkevich, Karina Cross and Dava amounted to 62,6 million rubles. (not including sponsorships).
Fashion brand placements accounted for about 17% of advertising from five major bloggers. Advertisers include Finn Flare, Kari.
