Spanish brand Camper's new Roku sneaker features six interchangeable components to create up to 64 different looks and color combinations. Roku means "six" in Japanese.
The new sneaker is made up of six interchangeable components that can be sold together as a assembled shoe or separately in four different packages, giving customers the opportunity to customize the sneaker to their liking.
Roku components include a cushioned footbed, soft knit upper, 3D sockliner, laces, and a lightweight XL outsole.
Roku comes in a variety of colors including black, white, khaki and red. If the sneakers are purchased flat, buyers can create up to 64 different color combinations and looks.
It took about two years to create and develop the new sneakers. Camper's design team notes that "the concept was challenging, but the shoe was easy to put together."
The first model of designer shoes in the Camper line was the Junction men's loafer, which allows you to change the color of the toe of the shoe due to a removable overlay on the toe.
Starting March 6, the new model of Roku sneakers will be available in Camper stores around the world, in partner retail and the brand’s online store.
