Lamoda's net turnover in 2023 increased by 30%

Lamoda, a Russian retailer in the field of fashion, beauty and lifestyle, noted an increase in the company's net turnover (NMV) in 2023 by 30%, to 132,5 billion rubles. At the same time, EBITDA increased by 10% year on year, amounting to 11,8 billion rubles. 

As noted in the company, the rate of EBITDA growth was influenced by the activity of investments in key areas - last year Lamoda invested a lot in the development of a network of pick-up points, the launch of the Lamoda Sport network, product development, and marketing promotion. In 2024, the company plans to maintain development investments at a high level. 

Net turnover under the marketplace model increased by 40% over the year. The number of suppliers listing their products under this model has grown to 2, up 015% from 9. 

The average monthly audience of the online platform was 14 million people. The average bill for one order is RUB 5. The frequency of purchases increased by 121% - on average, one customer made 17 purchases per year. 

In 2023, more than 800 new brands joined Lamoda, with almost half of them being local brands. In 2023, Lamoda continued to develop its service for customers. The number of our own order pick-up points increased to 775, which is 30% more than a year earlier. LM Express's own courier delivery operates in more than 1 major settlements of the Russian Federation. The company is also expanding the geography of Lamoda’s presence through the development of partner delivery points, of which there are already more than 000. 

In 2023, Lamoda actively expanded its warehouse infrastructure. The number of transit warehouses of the company has grown to 134. Lamoda also has a new distribution center in Chekhov (35 m000). The company has three distribution centers in total. Two complexes opened earlier are also located in the Moscow region - in Bykovo (2 m40) and in Sofino (000 m2). 

In December 2023, Lamoda began opening its own sporting goods retail stores under the Lamoda Sport brand, thus becoming an omnichannel player. At the moment, more than 90 stores have already been opened throughout Russia. The Lamoda Sport assortment is based on products from world brands, in particular adidas, PUMA, Reebok and others, including exclusive models.

“In 2023, Lamoda actively developed and invested heavily in the growth of key areas. At the same time, the effectiveness of investments remains a very important parameter for us, and we will continue to focus not only on growth dynamics, but also on business profitability, as well as on strengthening our competitive advantages - expertise in the field of fashion and lifestyle, unique user experience, control of originality and quality products presented on the platform,” commented Lamoda CEO Maxim Grishakov.

In 2024, Lamoda will continue to develop its product range in the fashion sector, including in new categories related to fashion and lifestyle (beauty, children, home). It is also planned to develop an advertising platform and monetization tools, continue to develop the Lamoda Sport retail network and an omnichannel approach to sales, improve the user experience for both buyers and sellers, expand the geographic presence through the development of its own pick-up point network and partner channels for issuing orders.
