Meet the new Nike and Jacquemus collaboration!
The latest Nike x Jacquemus collaboration sees one of the most iconic silhouettes, the Nike Moon Shoe, relaunched and reimagined. The running shoe was originally designed for the track stars of the 1972 Munich Olympics by Oregon State University coach Bill Bowerman.
The shoes got their name from the resemblance of their soles to the lunar surface, on which the astronauts left their footprints.
Since then, the sneakers have been reissued a couple of times. The collaboration with French brand Jacquemus is the third attempt to reimagine the iconic silhouette.
The shoes now have an elastic band on the collar, the tongue and heel are decorated with the Jacquemus logo. The shoes come in three color options - red, beige and black. At the same time, the signature moon sole of the debut Moon Shoe model remains unchanged. The thin and flexible sole is an absolute hit in today's trend, the fashion for sneakers.
Neither the price nor the exact release date have been announced by the collaboration participants yet, we are waiting for the next announcements!
