The long-awaited Ekonika flagship store on Malaya Bronnaya, in the capital's most fashionable spot, Patriarch's Ponds, has opened. The retailer prepared its customers for the opening in advance, whetting the audience's interest with social media posts, and hosted a blogger party in the still-unfinished storefront.
The location of the flagship retail store is truly iconic. Besides being home to the capital's most fashionable restaurants and cafes, Patriarch's Ponds are also home to luxury shoe brands Christian Louboutin and Guizeppe Zanotti, before major Western fashion brands left Russia.
Ekonika's flagship store on Patriarch's Ponds occupies three floors. The first floor houses a yogurt bar with an open kitchen and a space displaying the Ekonika collection, while the second floor features the retailer's sub-brand, Portal. What will be on the third floor is still unknown. The opening of this space is still pending.
The interior features plenty of mirrors, glitter, and rounded shapes. The charming furniture, designed by St. Petersburg design studio EDxxKAT, is undoubtedly one of the store's highlights.
The collection features a line of accessories, elegant jewelry, and branded scarves.
The shoe collection features many trendy styles. This season's hits include ballet flats, sneakers, flat sandals, and polka-dot prints.
