Karl Lagerfield opened a branded cafe in Amsterdam

Karl Lagerfield embraced the trend of fashion brands opening cafes. The brand's first cafe opened in central Amsterdam, near Karl Lagerfield's international headquarters.

The new space for the lifestyle brand, majority-owned by the American group G-III, is conceived as an architectural continuation of the concept of the Future Legacy boutique on London's Regent Street.

The interior features a monochrome palette, raw concrete, brushed metal, natural stone, and reflective surfaces. The café offers several varieties of coffee and pastries.
Visitors will find a selection of books, collectibles, fashion accessories, and the brand's iconic white shirt, presented in special packaging that pays homage to the façade of the Parisian building at 21 rue Saint-Guillaume. To celebrate the opening, a pop-up showroom will be open next to the building until September, showcasing the season's key designs.

The brand invited its ambassador Paris Hilton to the opening of the establishment.

Karl Lagerfeld has been part of the American G-III Apparel Group since 2022. In its first quarter financial report for fiscal year 2027 (ending April 2026), the American group exceeded market expectations, generating total revenue of $536 million.

This result is largely due to the strength of its portfolio of private labels, led by Karl Lagerfeld, DKNY and Donna Karan.

Since its direct acquisition in 2022, Karl Lagerfeld's sales have grown by approximately 90%, driven by increased sales of full-price products and an expanding international presence. The brand's global retail network comprises 200 locations.
