Expo Riva Schuh & Gardabags reflects the transformation trends of the global footwear market

The 105th Expo Riva Schuh & Gardabags exhibition will be held from June 13 to 16 in Riva d'Italia.El Garda. The exhibition's organizers are documenting changes in the global structure of footwear production and trade, which can be traced to the organizational structure of Expo Riva Schuh & Gardabags, writes Worldfootwear.com.

The historical dominance of individual production centers is gradually dissipating, giving way to a more distributed and redundant global supply network. Traditional boundaries between producing and consuming countries are blurring, creating interconnected macro-regions where roles increasingly overlap.

The 105th edition of Expo Riva Schuh & Gardabags, which will take place from 13 to 16 June 2026 in Riva del Garda, reflects these macroeconomic shifts in its exhibition indicators.

Representing over 1000 brands and exhibitors from 44 countries, Expo Riva Schuh & Gardabags showcases a diverse international landscape. 62,63% of exhibitors are from outside Europe, with 37,37% from EU countries. China leads the manufacturing sector, followed by Italy, Turkey, and India. The next edition will also feature new exhibitors from Vietnam, Tunisia, and South Africa, as well as a Japanese company and Croatian brand Gardabags.

The exhibition will also feature a summit of Latin American footwear industry leaders, bringing together members of ACCAL, an organization representing the main national associations and chambers of commerce in the Latin American footwear and accessories sector.

Exhibitors at the exhibition include suppliers and brands, as well as factories offering contract manufacturing services.

The exhibition's attendees included retailers, e-commerce players, buying offices, and importers. Approximately 41,7% of visitors are interested exclusively in private label production; 26,5% focus solely on brands; and 31,7% explore both.

In addition to a wide range of suppliers and manufacturers, the following brands will be presented at the exhibition in Riva del Garda: Windsor Smith, Primadonna, Gap, Levi's, Jungle Joggers, Wrangler, O'Neill, Lee, Alpacas, Kangaroos, Kastinger, Jako, Marco Tozzi, Tamaris, Igi&Co, Imac, Primigi, Valleverde, Goldstar, Leon, S. Oliver, Marina Galanti, Armata di Mare, Manas, Bronx, Bufflox, Comeby, Urbanfly by Vegastyle, Xti, Paredes, Marila, Refresh, Carmela, Amarpies, Rockaway.

Gardabags comprises over 80 companies, evenly distributed across brands, service providers, and service providers. These include: Marchetti, Pelletteria Charlotte, Marina Galanti, Marta Marzotto, Pet Sezona, Luana Ferracuti, Y-dry, Rocai, Ferchi, American Traveler, McLanee, Plavoangel, Genny il Pellettiere, Alex Max, Marini Silvano, Maxfly, Alexia, and Kingson.
