EKONIKA x KALMANOVICH immersed themselves in the style of New York clubs of the 70s.
EKONIKA continues a series of collaborations with Russian designers and releases a joint collection of shoes and accessories with the ready-to-wear brand founded in 2009 by Julia Kalmanovich. The leitmotif of the collection was the fashion of New York in the 70s, as seen by visitors to the legendary New York nightclub Studio 54. Evening and cocktail dresses, silk, velvet, lots of shine.
The central place in the EKONIKA x KALMANOVICH footwear collection is occupied by iconic silhouettes of the era: boots with accent lacing, low-heeled boots with a wide shaft, ankle boots with a stable heel, clogs and metallic sandals. High platform and an emphasis on stability.
The collection is complemented by accessories in the retro-glam aesthetic: fringed shopper bags, pouches with removable handles, a belt bag and high gloves.
The looks are complemented by jewelry — a waist chain with a symbolic bow, wide bracelets, a hair band, and aviator glasses in two frame options. The key colors of the collection are bright gold, two shades of chocolate, classic black, and universal milky. All items are decorated with a leather lining in a gold shade.
The launch of the collaboration is supported by photo and video shooting with the participation of famous heroines. "The plot unfolds in a luxurious hotel, where each character has become part of a unique visual novel: Sofia Ernst appears as a mysterious guest with luggage, Snezhanna Georgieva is a lady at the bar, Yulia Kalmanovich embodies the image of a bored guest, and Natalya Davydova is a sports-chic diva.
