The Moscow Arbitration Court has declared the head office of Russian shoe manufacturer Ralf Ringer bankrupt, and bankruptcy proceedings have been launched. The reason for launching the process was appeal to the court of the company "Stivali", from which "Ralph Ringer" rents production facilities at the Taldom shoe factory, and has a debt on the rent. The petition was filed last summer, and the court granted it on December 6.
Following the publication of the bankruptcy, the management of Ralf Ringer gave an official comment on its website, in which it assures that the launched process will not have a significant impact on the viability of the company.
"Since the beginning of September 2022, JSC Ralf Ringer has suspended all operational processes, focusing on challenging the actions of the Federal Tax Service and the Investigative Committee. As a result of the long-term blocking of accounts, the small creditor initiated bankruptcy proceedings in 2022 as a way to collect the debt. To date, claims against JSC Ralf Ringer do not have any significant impact on the activities of other enterprises of the group of companies.
All claims mentioned in the article concern only AO Ralf Ringer and do not affect our current relationships and obligations to partners, customers and employees. The situation is completely under the control of the company, so there is no reason to worry," - published on the Ralf Ringer website.
