Acne Studio Opens Headquarters in Paris
The Swedish avant-garde fashion brand Acne Studio has opened its headquarters in Paris. In the 10th arrondissement, in an old mansion from the beginning of the last century. In the 80s, this building housed a laboratory for the production of herbal tinctures and oils. Jonny Johansson, co-founder and creative director of Acne Studios, worked on the Acne office project, writes Fashion Network.
The former laboratory now houses the spacious Acne Studio showroom, with its exposed concrete columns, original vaulted glass ceiling and white walls, as well as a fitting room for VIP clients.
The entrance to the building, which serves as a reception area, has retained its gilded moldings, friezes, wooden decorative elements and carefully restored parquet.
The entire building, which will house around 80 employees, is furnished with designer furniture, such as garden benches and sofas for the showroom, designed by British designer Max Lamb, a long-standing partner of Acne Studios. Lighting designer Benoit Lallo also created a custom light installation. The courtyard is decorated with a marble sculpture by London artist Daniel Silver and whimsical shell chandeliers by Sylvie MacMillan.
